Sam Thaiday has posted a sickening 3D x-ray of his busted eye socket, which happened during the Four Nations campaign.
As you can see in the image below, it shows how brutal the injury was.
The veteran Kangaroos and Queensland forward suffered the injury after being caught by the head of England's James Graham in Australia's 38-16 win at the London Stadium.
“It was pretty nasty when it happened,” he said, on www.broncos.com.au.
“I copped an accidental bump the other day when we were doing some stuff but it pulled up all right after training.
“I’ll keep testing myself as much as I can and get my head right and make sure I’m backing myself and ability once I get out there and play footy.
“It hasn’t stopped me from doing anything. If we were in season I’d be back playing footy.
“I’ve got that in the back of my mind so I’m doing as much as I can on the field.”
