Following a report that David Klemmer wanted a release from his contract at the Bulldogs, the club's CEO Raelene Castle has denied these claims.

According to foxsports.com.au, Castle has said that the report was "completely inaccurate" and that no request had been made.

Klemmer inked on for a new deal with the club at the end of last year, which will see him at Belmore until the end of 2020.

"My understanding is that it will be all sorted out," Triple M's Paul Kent said.

"It's all a bit doomsday in the papers.

"There is a small financial dispute going on between Klemmer, the club and a third party (not a sponsor).

"It's looking like it will all be resolved tomorrow.

"As far as Klemmer leaving the club, I don't believe it's anywhere near that serious."
