Canterbury has suffered a blow ahead of its must-win clash against Brisbane with playmaker Moses Mbye ruled out through suspension for a shoulder charge.
"[Mbye] will miss one match with suspension following a shoulder charge on Manly forward Curtis Sironen in the 13th minute during the Bulldogs 36 nil loss," read a statement on www.bulldogs.com.au.
"Mbye has taken the early guilty plea on a grade one shoulder charge and will miss the Bulldogs clash with the Broncos at ANZ Stadium on Thursday night and incur 50 carry-over points.
"The halfback will next be available for the Bulldogs Round six clash with the Newcastle Knights."
