That wasn't supposed to happen

Jason Taumalolo was supposed to be the key to victory for the Cowboys in last night's Grand Final against the Storm.
However, the competitions biggest metre eater ran for only 115 metres, Taumalolo's lowest tally of the season.
In fact, Storm captain Cameron Smith ran for more metres from dummy half.
The Storm's wrestle proved far too superior for the entire Cowboys forward pack, as no forward apart from Taumalolo registered 100 run metres.
Despite a poor Grand Final showing from the Kiwi international, Taumalolo became the first forward in NRL history to crack 5000 run metres in a single season.
