Former Melbourne Storm star Cooper Cronk has purchased a $3.5 million mansion in the Sydney suburb of Mosman with his fiancee Tara Rushton.

Cronk left the Storm at the end of this season to spend more time with Rushton, whom he had been in a 900km long-distance relationship with.

He proposed to her last year.

Cronk’s final game for the Storm was a resounding 34-6 grand final win over the North Queensland Cowboys.

Cronk had a glittering career for the Storm, winning four premierships (although two were stripped due to salary cap breaches), two Dally Ms, five halfback of the year awards, a Clive Churchill award in the 2012 premiership win, and the Rugby League World Golden Boot in 2016.

He has yet to decide whether or not he will play on at a Sydney club next year.
