Cooper Cronk has reportedly passed his medical with the Sydney Roosters, before Australia's World Cup Opener against England.

According to WWOS' The Mole, Roosters officials including club doctor, Dr Ameer Ibrahim, put Cronk through a variety of tests with the former Storm halfback passing with ease.

There were reports yesterday, Cronk will leave World Cup duties after Friday night's World Cup opener and will be announced a Rooster as early as Monday.

Where that leaves Mitchell Pearce and Jake Friend is up for question, with Pearce especially unhappy with how the Roosters have treated him during this whole saga.
