Amid a flurry of will-he, won't-he rumours, news broke yesterday that Panthers' poster boy Nathan Cleary has reportedly signed a multi-year deal to stay at the foot of the mountains.

But Cleary's signing has a far wider-reaching impact than just on his own footy career; the halfback agreeing to stay at Penrith for the foreseeable future could see a domino effect on future players, his father's coaching career and whether or Cameron Ciraldo will stay on as coach.
