Josh McCrone is set to become the “face of the world’s first trans-Atlantic professional sporting team," reports www.nrl.com.au.

It’s understood he will take up a deal with Canadian club, Toronto Wolfpack in the Super League next year.

He will join ex-Eels cult hero Fui Fui Moi Moi and Rhys Jacks, who is the brother of Storm half Ryley Jacks.

The former Raiders halfback has surprised many this year, forming an excellent partnership with five-eighth Gareth Widdop.

Together the pair have guided the Dragons to an awesome start to the season.

However, it's understood he’s been forced out due to the high-profile signing of Ben Hunt, who joins the club next year.
