St George Illawarra coach Paul McGregor has denied theres a rift between him and club management over the future of Josh Dugan.

It comes after reports Dugan’s management was unhappy with an offer from the Dragons which they believed was below his market worth.

Triple M’s Brent Read from The Australian has shed more light on the possibility of Josh Dugan going to the Roosters.

While James Tedesco is their No. 1 target, Bondi bosses have drawn up a hitlist and rep star Josh Dugan is second on the list.

“If they miss out on Tedesco, Dugan is the next best fullback around and the Roosters will certainly look at him,” said Read on Sunday Triple M NRL.

The Dragons are believed to have offered Dugan $2.2 million over three years, which might not be enough. Listen to the full audio below.
