The Dragons have released a statement regarding the health of star Josh Dugan, saying that he'll be back in as little as three weeks.
This comes as a shock, as Dugan was originally thought to miss a lot more footy.
Dugan has fractured his cheekbone and will undergo minor surgery to treat the injury.
He'll miss the next three weeks of football, but is now a technical possibility for Origin selection.
Triple M's Ryan Girdler said that while he could play, it's too much of an ask to just pop him in the Blues side without a game to ease him back in after injury.
"That would be tough, I would want him to play a club game first," Girds said.
"But I know how loyal Laurie (Daley) is..."
