From grudges to rivalries and former players returning to places they once called 'home', these are the must watch games you can't afford to miss.

Round 1 - Dragons v Broncos - Thursday March 8 7:50pm, UOW Jubilee Stadium

The Dragons $1 million man, Ben Hunt, will be out to impress his new set of fans against the club he spent ten years with.

Dragons fans will be hoping a solid start to the season and an impressive showing from Hunt could lead them to the finals after a dismal 2017 campaign.

Round 2 Sharks v Dragons - Thursday March 15 7:50pm, Southern Cross Group Stadium

Josh Dugan won't have to wait too long to get a crack at the team that let him go when he lines up in the black, white and blue against the Red-V.

This local derby always produces on and off the field but in 2018 there will be an extra spice added to the mix.

Round 3 - Storm v Cowboys - Thursday March 22 7:50pm, AAMI Park

Grand Final rematches are always an exciting prospect.

Will there be a GF hangover for the Storm? Can the Cowboys exact revenge for their GF heartbreak?

What difference will Johnathan Thurston and Matt Scott play this time around when the two teams meet?

Equally what will the effect of no Cooper Cronk do to the Storm?

So many questions will be answered when these two combatants meet.

Round 4 - Rabbitohs v Bulldogs - Friday 30 March 4pm, ANZ Stadium

When these two sides meet on Good Friday it's always a cracker; big crowds, controversial moments and some epic finishes.

The 2018 edition should be no different, especially as first-time NRL coaches Anthony Seibold (Souths) and Dean Pay (Dogs) will be looking to one up each other when they meet for the first time.

Plus, Sam Burgess v David Klemmer - it's must see.

Round 12 - West Tigers v Bulldogs - Sunday May 27 4pm, ANZ Stadium

Even when Aaron Woods was a Tigers player, some of the orange and black faithful didn't admire him very much.

Now after defecting to Belmore, the distain will be resounding when Woods comes up against his former club for the first time.

It will also see former Bulldogs fan favourite Josh Reynolds take on his beloved Bulldogs for the first time as a Tiger.

One definitely not to be missed!
