38-year-old former Eels cult hero Fuifui Moimoi has signed a short-term deal with sixth division Rugby Union side Bradford & Bingley.

Moimoi has already had an instant impact for The Bees, helping his new team climb out of the relegation zone after just two games.

In his most recent match, Moimoi was sin-binned early in the match before returning to score a try and set up another as Bradford & Bingley defeated Huddersfield YMCA 22-9.

"I am playing for the Bees because my cousins are here – Richard Tafa (second-team coach) and Inoke Finau (winger)," Moimoi told The Telegraph & Argus.

"I am waiting for an offer from rugby league but am taking it week by week with the Bees.

"I haven't played union since I was 13 and it is different."

Moimoi was sacked from English Championship side, Toronto Wolfpack after an off-field incident during the club's pre-season tour of Portugal.
