A former Sydney Roosters junior has been arrested and charged over a cocaine distribution ring uncovered by Operation Northrop which was executed by police in the Sydney CBD and surrounding suburbs.

Ben Darcy, 28, was charged last week with two counts of knowingly deal with the proceeds of crime, five counts of supplying a prohibited drug, ongoing drug supply and breaching bail.

Darcy was granted conditional bail and will reappear at the Downing Centre Local Court on January 23.
