Moses Suli's former Wests Tigers teammate Chris Lawrence has told The Rush Hour with MG, the 19-year-old prodigy just wasn't ready for the extremely high standards required as a professional athlete.

Suli was released from two clubs in the space of a month, after failing to take his career seriously despite several warnings from both the Bulldogs and Tigers.

It has even been reported Suli once slept in the car while his Tigers teammates were training during pre-season.

While former teammate and Wests Tigers co-captain Chris Lawrence does feel for the youngster, the 29-year-old believes a few years out of the game could help Suli find the drive and love for the game.
