Gorden Tallis and Paul Kent have ripped into a 'ridiculous' area plaguing modern day rugby league.

As noted by Gordie when he first started playing in 1992 for the Dragons, the average play-the-ball was less than 2 seconds.

In 2018, the time has almost blown out to an incredible 10-seconds.

This led to both Gordie and Kenty calling for the NRL to reduce the interchange to combat this 'ridiculous' area.
