While Jarryd Hayne has been an automatic inclusion for most people having a stab at the side Laurie Daley will pick on Monday night, his performance last night left a bit to be desired.

Hayne was out of sorts in the Titans 30 - 10 loss to Manly, with this widely tipped as his worst performance in a while.

“Jarryd was too tight at times, they could have scored another try when Dylan skinned him on the inside and he offloaded it to his winger but he put it down,” Titans coach Neil Henry said.

“Certainly some decision making around our edges need to improve.”

Meanwhile, Dylan Walker had a blinder, and thoroughly outclassed his opposition - with Manly coach Trent Barrett saying that Walker deserved to have his name thrown into contention.

“He was busted at the end there and came up with a try that got us home,” Barrett said.

“I think he proved tonight that he’s worthy of a centre spot in the Origin side, it was an audition for him tonight — he was under a fair bit of duress and came through and played terrific."
