James Maloney is known to be a bit of a larrikin, and his latest media commitments have certainly lived up to his reputation.
Speaking to Channel 9's Danny Weidler from Blues camp ahead of Origin III on Wednesday, Maloney provided a bit of banter about the snubbing of Daly Cherry-Evans - a noted move away from the 'no-trash talk' attitude surrounding this Origin series. Watch the video below.
"He's playing good form. Do they hate him or what?" Maloney said.
"He was in good form and gave us (the Sharks) a touch-up a couple of weeks ago.
"It doesn't bother me, it doesn't concern me.
"It's not really my problem."
In terms of his own performance, Maloney likened himself to one of Brad Pitt's characters.
"I'm just getting younger," he said.
"I'm like Benjamin Button - I'm starting to go backwards so I'm going back into my prime."
