James Tedesco Reveals Embarrassing Injury From Origin

The Tigers seem to be missing their star fullback James Tedesco early in their clash with the Titans this evening.

And it turns out that Tedesco was ruled out because of an injury picked up in quite awkward circumstances.

According to Fox Sports, Tedesco has re-injured his ankle with a lateral ligament tear - while celebrating Mitchell Pearce's try.

There was originally concern that it was a syndesmosis problem like he sustained in 2014 and saw him sit out a big chunk of the season.

However, he is reportedly hopeful of making a return against Newcastle in Round 17.

“I went to celebrate with him (Pearce),” Tedesco said.

“I jumped up and I rolled it as I was celebrating with him.

“It’s pretty funny, but it’s not ideal.”
