Following a tumultuous week for the Wests Tigers, the Triple M Saturday NRL team have had a look at outgoing coach Jason Taylor's chances of coaching the NRL again.

"I reckon the key word is assistant. There is no question that he has a smart football brain, but I don't think he has the man management, the charisma or authority," Triple M's James Hooper said. Listen to the full report below.

"He's the number two, he's not the front man.

"I don't think we'll see him as a head coach again.

"He's a very good assistant coach, and has an analytical brain in terms of rugby league smarts, but he's had several goes at it now.

"I don't think he'll be afforded another opportunity as a head coach."

"Off-field, he just doesn't seem to have that rapport with the players," Triple M's Wendell Sailor said.
