After missing out on the Head Coaching role at the Bulldogs, Jim Dymock has quit the club after spending more than a decade at Belmore.

The former Bulldogs player was in a two-horse race for the role with Dean Pay, with the Bulldogs board eventually settling on choosing Pay as the club's next head coach after Des Hasler's sacking.

Dymock has been immediately snapped up by the Sharks and will join Shane Flanagan's coaching staff effective immediately.

John Morris has also been rewarded for a fanatic season coaching the Sharks Holden Cup side, with the recently retired Shark being promoted to Assistant Coach alongside Dymock.
