During his first press conference as the new ARLC Chairman, Peter Beattie said the NRL must "expand or die."

It's been a hot topic for the last few months, with many candidates putting their bids forward. 

From Perth to PNG and all the way to a Pacific Islands team, the NRL has plenty of options when it does decided to to eventually move forward with expansion. 

The 8th Immortal Andrew Johns has has told Triple M, he believes the Queensland need two more teams in the NRL.

Speaking on Triple M Brisbane's Dead Set Legends, Johns would like to see a second Brisbane team and a Central Queensland side added to the competition.
