The Sydney Roosters have announced the re-siging of Kiwi international Isaac Liu, on a three-year-deal.

Liu joined the club in 2011, playing for the club's NYC side and in the lower grades before making his debut in 2013.

Roosters coach Trent Robinson told the club's website he's thrilled Liu is staying with the club.

"I’ve really enjoyed watching Isaac develop over the last five years, " Robinson said.

"He has an outstanding work ethic, and he is highly respected by all his teammates and staff, so it’s great that he will continue to play his role at the Roosters for a further three years."

Liu made his debut for New Zealand at this year's Rugby League World Cup.
