It looks like the Knights have landed another signing, with the Roosters' Connor Watson inking on with the club.
While Watson's name has been tossed around in conjunction with the Tigers, but Triple M and Fox Sports' James Hooper has confirmed on Fox Sports' NRL Tonight that a deal is done with Newcastle.
“He’s been the subject of a tug-o-war for a number of weeks between the Wests Tigers and the Newcastle Knights,” Hooper told Fox Sports.
“In a perfect world, the Roosters would’ve loved to have kept him but the Knights have blown them out of the water. The deal is worth around $500,000 per season and will be for three years. He’ll play in the halves.
“He lives on the Central Coast, that’s where he has family so it is a logical move and another great signing for the Knights.”
