While the Maroons camp has had a pretty hectic run in to tonight's game, there has been very little noise from the NSW camp.
But the Blues' week hasn't been without at least one hitch; Latrell Mitchell's family had to make a detour on the way to Melbourne to pick up a vital bit of the 20-year-old's kit.
"We actually had to pull in and grab his mouthguard," Mitchell's dad Matt told 7 News. "He forgot his mouthguard."
The Mitchells, who were driving the 1000 kms from Taree to the MCG, stopped in at the centre's Sydney house before continuing to Melbourne, where they'll watch Latrell make his Origin debut tonight.
