Leading NRL whistleblower Gerard Sutton was seen running the rule over today's Parramatta Eels training session, as reported by www.dailytelegrpah.com.au

Whilst it is not uncommon for NRL referees to lend a hand at club's training sessions, Sutton's spotting at Eels training comes only a few days after Melbourne Storm coach Craig Bellamy reportedly spoke to NRL referee's boss Tony Archer to discuss the Eels questionable tactics heading into Saturday's Qualifying Final.

Eels winger Kirisome Auva'a welcomed the addition of Sutton at training as a way to help combat the Storm's ruck wrestle.

“It’s more around the ruck area and getting clarification of the rules there,’’ Auva’a said.

Earlier Eels coach Brad Arthur pleaded to NRL officials to keep control of the ruck to give his side a chance at advancing in the finals.

“If we’re allowed to play a little bit of football, we might be a chance,” Arthur said.
