It's been a landmark season for Rabbitohs dummy-half Damien Cook, who in 2018 has firmly established himself among the elite in the NRL.

Cook has helped NSW win only their second Origin series in 12-years, led the Rabbitohs to a top-four berth after missing the finals in the two previous seasons and is set to become the Kangaroos undisputed number nine.

The 27-year-old has come a long way since just last year, when he was sharing the dummy-half role with Robbie Farah at the Bunnies.

However, Cook revealed to Triple M's The Rush Hour with MG the conversation with coach Anthony Seibold, which would ultimately become the catalyst for his unforgettable season.
