To say it's been a big couple of weeks for Roosters five-eighth Luke Keary would be an understatement.

Named the Clive Churchill Medallist in the Roosters' Grand Final win over the Storm, Keary yesterday received a call-up to the Kangaroos squad whilst recovering on the couch from the team's week-long celebrations - revealing he was "a little bit sick" when he got the call from coach Mal Meninga.

Keary, now a two-time Grand Final winner, has taken his game to another level this year and today he revealed the player responsible for making that happen.

Listen below:

Keary was ironically called into the squad to replace the man he had the better of in this year's Grand Final, Cameron Munster, who withdrew from the upcoming series against New Zealand and Tonga citing "personal reasons".

The former Manly under-18s player also spoke of his excitement about pairing with Daly Cherry-Evans in the halves and having his club captain Boyd Cordner as his first Australian captain.
