UPDATE: Manly has agreed to grant an early release request received from Queensland and Australian representative Test prop forward Nate Myles.

"The Club recognises Nate's significant contribution both on and off the field in providing much needed stability, being a key contributor in building a winning culture and confidence in our developing forward pack. Nate leaves us with our best wishes for both his and his family’s future," read a statement on www.seaeagles.com.au

It's understood the veteran Maroons prop will join the Melbourne Storm.

Meanwhile, the Sea Eagles have announced the signing of junior Kiwi representative forward Toafofoa (Toff) Sipley.

"The 22-year-old will join the Sea Eagles at the completion of the 2017 season from the NZ Warriors and has agreed to a two-year-deal for the 2018 and 2019 seasons," said the club.

"Manly's recruitment team has been closely monitoring Toff for some time and are excited to finally have secured him. Toff has been in strong form for the Warriors’ table topping Intrust Cup side."

Sea Eagles forward Nate Myles will leave the club before the June 30 deadline, having signed a new deal with the Melbourne Storm.

“It’s understood Myles has told Manly teammates he is moving south after coach Trent Barrett gave his blessing,” read the report on www.foxsports.com.

Myles was brought over from the Titans for his tough and no-nonsense style. But the veteran Maroons prop has been playing from the bench, after starting just two games for Manly this season.

Myles, 31, was two games shy of equalling the record of Origin's longest serving prop - former teammate Petero Civoniceva - who played 33 games from 2001-12.

This would’ve put Myles equal fifth in most Origin games by a Queenslander, behind only Cameron Smith (39), Darren Lockyer (36), Johnathan Thurston (36) and Allan Langer (34).
