Triple M and Fox League's Gorden Tallis has offered some humbling advice for injured Bronco Matt Gillett.
On Thursday it was revealed by Triple M's Brent Read, that Gillett would miss up to three months of footy after finding out he had played the opening five rounds with a fractures in his back and neck.
Tallis who had a similar injury to Gillett told Brisbane's Dead Set Legends, there's more to the injury than just coming back and playing footy.
The former Bronco urged Gillett to be extremely cautious with his return to the NRL with Gordie putting particular emphasis on how his life could be affected post-footy.
