Triple M's Mark Geyer has urged the NRL to implement a system to avoid any noise surrounding players potentially backflipping on contracts signed with other clubs.

This comes after Panthers utility Tyrone Peachey has reportedly told his manager to seek options elsewhere in Sydney despite signing a three-year-deal with the Gold Coast Titans earlier this year.

If true, Peachey could join previous 'backflippers' Daly Cherry-Evans (Titans), Josh Papalii (Eels) and James Tedesco (Raiders).

On Triple M's The Rush Hour with MG, Geyer spoke of the need to implement possible an exclusive transfer or trade system at the conclusion of the season.
