MG: Here's Why We Can't Shut Down The NRL For An Origin Period

The idea of an Origin month has been floating around since the standalone weekend during Origin II.

The whole representative weekend was impressive beginning with the Women's State of Origin, included the Pacific Tests and ended with Origin. 

To some it was the blueprint of what could be a whole month of representative footy. 

However, MG believes there's a strong reason why the NRL should avoid a month long hiatus.
