Triple M's Mark Geyer believes there should be more steps put in place to protect young players, like Moses Suli, from becoming disillusioned with the game after signing "big money contracts."

Suli was released from his Bulldogs contract just 28 days after signing with the Belmore-based club, after failing to adapt to the high standards of the club.

The 19-year-old was late to training almost every day and failed to finish those training sessions.

This comes after Suli was released from his multimillion-dollar contract at the Tigers for similar issues.

Speaking on The Rush Hour with MG, Geyer specified the measures he would put in place to ensure the issues surrounding Suli never happen again.
