"Mitchell Pearce Is In The Best Form Of His Career"

Speaking after the announcement of his Blues side, Laurie Daley has thrown his full support behind NSW halfback Mitchell Pearce.

Despite Pearce having several forgettable cracks at the job, Daley is confident that he's made the right choice, and went as far as saying that Pearce is now hitting the best form of his career.

"We're really happy with the side, and believe that they'll give it their best on Wednesday week," Daley said.

"Mitchell Pearce brings maturity and good game management. He's a guy with plenty of ability.

"He's coming into the best form of his career. He's had a number of critics, but he really looks to have come back bigger and better this year."
