Channel Nine's Danny Weidler has spoken today about fresh allegations into the Tim Simona investigation, telling the Triple M Grill Team that there were questions over Simona's involvement with certain charities. Check out the earlier report below.

It now appears as though the investigation also concerns whether all of the money raised has indeed gone to the nominated causes.

There are reportedly two charities involved, which have been identified as the Sharlz Taki foundation and Camp Quality, which helps kids with cancer.

"The issue remains whether all of the money that Tim Simona said he's been raising has gone to charity," Weidler said. See the report below.

"Nine News understands that Simona has made some admissions to the NRL that not all of the money raised from his auctions went to the nominated charities.

"We've talked to the NSW Police and they have confirmed that the Organised Crimes Squad is aware of these fresh allegations."

Camp Quality have reportedly issued a statement saying that they have committed their own investigation and have passed their information onto relevant authorities.
