Roosters enforcer Jared Waerea-Hargreaves has reportedly been told he is not required to play for the Kiwi international side ahead of the upcoming Rugby League World Cup. 

According to the 7th Tackle, JWH was told he would be included in the squad only last week but officials have suddenly changed their mind.

This comes just hours after Jason Taumalolo turned his back on the Kiwi side to play for Tonga. 

Newly-crowned Premiership player Tohu Harris will also reportedly miss the tournament through injury with Issac Luke set to miss out for his poor showings during the 2017 season.
