Anthony Mundine has confirmed he wants to make a comeback to the NRL.

Speaking at the launch of the NSWRL Knockout Health Challenge, ‘The Man’ revealed he’s ready to return to rugby league.

“I may do it. Not next year, but the year after,” Mundine, 40, said.

“I just got to get my speed up… and my feet working [and] dazzling and going again.

“I believe I can score some tries and set-up some tries."

And asked what club he’d wanna play for, he smiled: “It’s gotta be the Dragons”.

Mundine's NRL career spanned 1993 - 2000, playing over 120 games for St George Illawarra and Brisbane before leaving to pursue a boxing career.
