There will be some significant developments regarding Nathan Peats' future in the coming weeks, following reports that the hooker may end up back at the Eels.

According to couriermail.com.au, a pay dispute regarding a two-year deal slated for Peats could see him be the latest Titans player to walk out on the club.

This news comes shortly after back-rower Chris McQueen signed with the Tigers on a $1.2 million, three-year deal, as well as news that rookie Tyler Cornish has left the club after being advised they couldn't accomodate him financially as a regular first grader.

The loss of McQueen turned out to be quite a spectacle, with the Titans $300, 000-per-season offer well outdone by the Tigers.

Apparently the offer was also significantly below what Peats was after, and his manager has confirmed that two other clubs have been in touch.

You have to feel for Peatsy, who joined the Gold Coast side just under a year ago after being forced out of Parramatta as they desperately tried to scrape back under the salary cap.
