Rumours are rife the Bulldogs have called a board meeting tomorrow to discuss Des Hasler's future at the club.

“The Bulldogs will hold a board meeting on Tuesday where the future of coach Des Hasler will be on top of the agenda,” wrote James Hooper, on www.foxsports.com.au.

This is less than four months after the coach was signed for two more seasons at Canterbury.

Des Hasler's been under scrutiny lately with the performance of the team and the coach reportedly up for discussion.

Earlier on Triple M, questions were raised about Kieran Foran's move to the club.

As we've seen in the past, some players have stipulations built into their contract relating to the coach, which can even be used as an escape clause in the event that the coach is sacked.

However, Triple M and Fox Sports' James Hooper said Foran's contract is rock solid, and the club wouldn't include coach-related provisions.

"He doesn’t have that in there," Hoops said, on Saturday Triple M NRL.

"They insisted that he doesn’t have that in there.

"The Bulldogs decided a while ago when Moses Mbye tried to get one of those clauses in his contract, and the Dogs stood firm on that.

"As far as I’m aware, they also stood firm in terms of Kieran Foran, so there’s no get out clauses there."

This means that while a reunion was originally on the cards for Foran and Hasler, who worked together during their time at Manly, there are no guarantees that Foran's time at the Dogs will be under Hasler. Listen to the full audio below.
