Speaking on Triple M's Dead Set Legends, Triple M and the Australian's Brent Read has reported that the NRL is looking to spice up its opening round in 2018. Listen to the full report below.

“With the first round next year, there’s been a bit of talk about the possibility of playing in Fiji,” Ready said.

“The NRL is actually contemplating playing a double-header in Perth in round one.

“Perth has got a new stadium being built, and there was talk they were going to play the Nines there.

“So they’ll start the season potentially with a game in Fiji and two games in Perth.”
