As the siren sounded in last night's semi-final it not only ended the Parramatta Eels' hot-and-cold season but also cult figure Semi Radradra's NRL career for the time being is effectively over.

The two-time Dally M Winger of the Year, is off to French rugby to play for club side Toulon, ending his five year stint in the NRL.

The Fijian Flyer remarkably amassed an incredible 82 tires in only 94 games for the Eels, an incredible achievement for a player who knew nothing about the game of rugby league when he joined the Eels in 2013.

Eels coach Brad Arthur is disappointed to see Radradra leave but is hopeful he will be back playing for the Eels once his rugby stint has ended.

"He's been great for our club, he's worked extremely hard. At some stage we'd like to have him back," Arthur said.

Eels captain Tim Mannah echoed Arthur's sentiments.

"He'll be missed, but like Braid said hopefully we see him in the blue-and-gold colours again," Mannah said.
