Promising Souths back-rower Jack Gosiewski has suffered a serious injury at training, reports www.foxsports.com.au.

Goisweski tore his patella tendon and is looking at four-to-five months on the sideline.

The 22-year-old made his NRL debut for Souths against Parramatta last year.

He only played five games but impressed with what little time he spent on the field.

Meanwhile, Aaron Gray is facing a lengthy spell on the sidelines with a knee injury picked up at the Auckland Nines.
