Raiders star Jordan Rapana will miss the first half of the 2019 season after the club confirmed the winger requires surgery to repair repair his dislocated shoulder.

Rapana suffered the injury during New Zealand's second Test against England at Anfield last week.

The Raiders have ruled the Kiwi ruled out until late May.

Meaning Rapana won't be available until at least round 11.

The 29-year-old made 21 appearances for the Raiders in season 2018, scoring 10 tries.
