The Canberra Raiders have announced the will be holding a public memorial service for the late Kato Ottio. 

The Raiders made the announcement via the club's website. 

"The Canberra Raiders are holding a memorial service for their former player, teammate and friend, Kato Ottio for 7.30am Thursday 11th January at Holy Trinity Church, Curtin.

"The service is public and open to members and fans who would like to pay their respect to Kato.

"Our club would like to remind those attending to be respectful towards players/staff at this time."

The 23-year-old tragically passed away, early Tuesday morning after collapsing while training with QLD Cup side the PNG Hunters.
