The North Queensland Cowboys are set to sign Queensland and Australian forward Josh McGuire for the 2019 season, according to a report.
The Daily Telegraph's Phil Rothfield is reporting McGuire will be let go by the Broncos to take-up a $3.2million deal at the Cowboys, with the length of the contract still unknown.
According to Rothfield, the Broncos don't necessarily want to part-ways with McGuire BUT it would free-up cap space to keep the younger Broncos brigade of Tevita Pangai Junior, David Fifita, Payne Haas and Joe Ofahengaue.
