Mitchell Moses will reportedly stick with his decision to play for Parramatta.

And the Wests Tigers star could potentially play for the Blue & Gold as early as Round Nine (so that will be a week after the Eels vs Tigers game at ANZ Stadium), reports The Daily Telegraph’s Buzz Rothfield.

“Mitchell Moses DEFINITELY sticking to @TheParraEels contract - will be released early by @WestsTigers - next week,” tweeted Buzz.

This follows today's report that Moses was thinking of ‘backflipping’ on the deal.

“BREAKING: My man @RLW_Mole tells me Mitchell Moses considering backflipping on deal with @TheParraEels and staying at @WestsTigers,” tweeted rugby league reporter Tony Adams.

Earlier, former Wests Tigers coach Jason Taylor told Fox Sports' Super Saturday coverage, he thinks Moses’ move to Parramatta is in the best interests of the Tigers, with halfback Luke Brooks given the opportunity to take control of the side.

“I think that (Brooks) needs to step up and lead this team and I don’t think that it’s going to be a negative for Luke if Mitch does move to Parramatta,” Taylor said.

“It gives Luke the opportunity to own the team, he needs to take over it and run it in his fashion.”
