Sea Eagles forward Nate Myles will sign with the Storm, reports Channel Nine’s Wide World Of Sports reporter The Mole.

“Myles is still under contract to Manly for next season but the Sea Eagles are prepared to let him go after an approach by the Storm,” read the report on www.wwos.nine.com.au.

Myles was brought over from the Titans for his tough and no-nonsense style. But the veteran Maroons prop has been playing from the bench, after starting just two games for Manly this season.

Myles, 31, is two games shy of equalling the record of Origin's longest serving prop - former teammate Petero Civoniceva - who played 33 games from 2001-12.

That would put Myles equal fifth in most Origin games by a Queenslander, behind only Cameron Smith (39), Darren Lockyer (36), Johnathan Thurston (36) and Allan Langer (34).
