News Just In On The Playing Future Of Robbie Farah

Robbie Farah is reportedly on the outer at Souths with the veteran hooker being shopped around even with a year still on his contract.

The 33-year-old is on $950,000 this year, mostly being covered by his former club Wests Tigers, meaning the Rabbitohs will have to pay 100 per cent of his contract in 2018.

Triple M’s Matty Johns believes the experiment of having dual hookers, Farah and Damien Cook, has not worked. And ultimately salary cap pressure may force Robbie to leave.

“There’s been a little bit of talk in rugby league circles of Cooper Cronk going to South Sydney. If that is the case, they need to clear the salary cap,” said Matty Johns, on Triple M Grill Team.
