There was a lot of controversy coming out of Saturday's clash between the Knights and the Rabbitohs, with George Burgess and Hymel Hunt being cited by the Match Review Committee for incidences in the game.

George Burgess was hit with a grade two striking charge, which will incur a two week suspension with an early guilty plea (270 points; guilty 360).

"Someone please explain," Girds said.

"If Barnett goes down and breaks his jaw, it's a different story."

It's worth noting that George Burgess previously received a two week ban for throwing a water bottle in the vicinity of people at the stadium.

Hymel Hunt received a grade two reckless tackle charge, seeing him sit out four weeks with an early guilty plea (450 points; guilty 600).

"They're lucky they gave that as reckless because I saw it as intentional," Bill Harrigan said.

Another Rabbitoh was charged from the outing, with Braidon Burns copping a one week suspension for a shoulder charge with an early guilty plea (150 points; guilty 200) .

Josh Starling of the Knights was done for a dangerous contact charge for contact with Kyle Turner, but can escape suspension if he takes the early guilty plea (90 points; guilty 120).
