Revealed: Inside The Awkward Luncheon Featuring Wayne Bennett & Craig Bellamy

On Friday in Queensland, both Craig Bellamy and Wayne Bennett were guest speakers at a special luncheon.

Of course as the narrative tells us, the Broncos are chasing Bellamy as a replacement for Wayne Bennett throwing a mega multi-million dollar deal at the current Storm coach. 

However, the date of start is stumbling block with current Broncos coach Wayne Bennett not off contract until the end of 2019 and unwilling to step away from the Brisbane club a year early to accommodate Bellamy who's current deal with the Storm ends at the conclusion of this season. 

Triple M Saturday NRL spoke with the Courier Mail's Robert Craddock who was in attendance at the Toowoomba Turf Club and revealed what went down.
