A controversial decision from the NRL bunker has cost the Raiders two valuable competition points as they went down the the Sharks in Friday’s drivetime footy match.

With the Raiders just four-points behind the Sharks and with the ascendancy, the Sharks were awarded a controversial try despite it looking like Jesse Ramien knocked the ball on before Sione Katoa scoring underneath the posts.

Raiders coach Ricky Stuart picked his words carefully during the post-match pressure but did criticise the match officials for that decision.
